Dive into the Acts 2 and the pivotal moment of Pentecost.Discover how this event reshaped the early church and its lasting impact.Acts 2:1–4 highlights the sound of a rushing wind, tongues of fire, and the disciples speaking in languages they had never learned. Pentecost was also a wheat harvest celebration featuring two leavened loaves, symbolizing Jews and Gentiles offered to God despite being leavened with sin because of Jesus’ perfect sacrifice. Pentecost links wind and fire to God’s presence in the tabernacle and Solomon’s temple and the pattern shows the Church as the inauguration of a new temple—believers individually and the church corporately as the dwelling place of God in the world.
